Detail:
This course will follow the national training programme for EVCs and will introduce new EVCs to the functions of this important role. The benefits of Educational Visits will be emphasised, and the key sources of guidance available will be explored. The course will ensure that EVCs are familiar with the responsibilities of their schools - and where appropriate the LA - when organising visits.
- Understanding of the functions of the EVC
- Up-to-date knowledge of legal expectations and DfE, HSE and LA requirements
- Awareness and availability of support and guidance
