Detail:
This session will explore what is meant by cohesion at KS2 and how to embed grammar in order to promote cohesion in writing. It will involve some grammar subject knowledge, as well as teaching strategies that support effective grammar teaching.
Outcomes:
- Participants have a secure understanding of the elements of the grammar curriculum that promote cohesion and flow for the reader
- Participants are confident to embed these elements into their teaching of writing
