This course is offered to support colleagues to navigate the new Ofsted Framework, released in September 2025 and implemented from November 1st 2025.
We will look at the EYFS inspection toolkit and the expectations in light of ‘The Writing Framework’ and its focus on handwriting and foundational knowledge and skills for writing.
The aim is for colleagues to see how their current pedagogy and provision fits with the new framework and how they can use the Merton writing guidance to support external and internal scrutiny of skills progression or all aspects linked to writing.
